Biography

This year I was nominated for a Canada Screen Award for 'Best Direction, Factual' as one of the directors on First Contact Canada, Season Two.

As a freelance documentary editor and director I have lost count of all of the films I have worked on - last I checked it was over 60. I have been able to work on films for Animal Planet Canada, APTN, CBC, CTV, Discovery Canada, Documentary Channel, Global TV, National Film Board of Canada, OLN, Smithsonian Channel, Sportsnet, SuperChannel and probably a few others. Spending a majority of my time the last 18 years in an edit suite, I am now focusing on hitting the road with my camera, capturing the world the way I see it.

Looking for a new challenge, in the spring of 2018 I set myself a goal to become a published photographer within a year. A few months later my photo of the kilns in Stonewall, Manitoba has been selected to be a part of the McNally Robinson Booksellers published book Manitoba by Manitoba.

My work continues as a director and filmmaker on various projects for broadcast and independent release.
